My career in the film industry started when I was just 16. Even though I was still in high school, I worked on commercial shoots on weekends and spent my summers working full-time on features.
At 17, I was the youngest person ever to be inducted into New York’s Local 829 and continued to work for years under amazingly talented scenic artists. At 22, I moved to Los Angeles and worked as an art PA, eager to learn the production design process from concept to completion.
I have always attributed my Art Directing skills to my years working not only in the art department but alongside construction and painting, and my passion outside of work for designing and building my own projects from scratch.
I have also been fortunate enough over the years to be part of some of the earliest design meetings on a show, assisting in making the dreams of a director and the concepts of a production designer into a physical set.
